Introduction to the new destination

Before accepting an assignment abroad, the employee and family are usually invited to make a pre-visit. To make the most of this visit, it is essential to make a thorough need analysis, to establish what is required.  If possible, this is done by a personal meeting, or via telephone.

 

Before going ahead with the planning, it is important to have a dialogue with the hosting company, to make sure we agree on a suitable level of service and cost. Different customers have different needs – we are flexible.

 

During the visit, the employee gets an introduction of the new country and the recommended domicile areas, information about the process and the time schedule, and a presentation of the options.

 

If possible, appointments to show available houses or apartments are already made at this stage. The guided tour also consists of visiting schools and general areas of interest, such as shops, sport clubs etc. A package of information, folders, maps etc. is supplied.
