•    Walk through your home with the crew leader to give him an overview of what is to be done. Be sure that he is aware of any special needs or instructions. Remember to keep keys, passports, etc to the side.

•    Call Alfa Quality Moving AB if you have any questions during the packing, which the crew leader cannot answer.

•    Advise the crew of any items which you will require immediately at destination so they can load them last (if appropriate).
 
•    After packing is completed and before our crew has departed, walk through your home to ensure nothing has been missed. Ensure that you retain your own copy after checking and signing the packing list.

•    If possible, do NOT arrange travel overseas on the same day as the removal, as this will tend to add to the (normal) stress involved.
 
 
During your move
 
Arrival to the country of destination
When the goods arrive to your country of destination, the removal company will arrange custom clearance and delivery from the port/airport area. Please be aware that this procedure might take weeks at some destinations.

When the goods has been released the destination agent will deliver the goods to your residence according to the agreement made between them and yourself. Please provide them with as much information as possible regarding your new residence – is it a house or an apartment, can they delivery the container (if applicable) directly to the residence or do they need to reload the goods, is there an elevator, if it's an apartment etc. Anything that they know in advance helps them make a better job.
