Kenneth Egelrud, CEO at Alfa Quality Moving AB. | | Comments from the CEO – When you see what´s going around in society today, one gets several reminders of the importance of focusing on doing the right thing, at the right time in every situation. When it comes to this, Alfa Quality Moving has got a tremendously good response from our customers that our work on focusing on quality, the environment and finding cost efficient solutions are important even in difficult times.
– We still have an increase in removals to Sweden but there is a decrease in removals from Sweden. This creates an unbalance in the loading factor corncerning our truck fleet in Europe. To solve this issue we cooperate with our colleagues within OMNI and FIDI. Together we do our best to find a good solution for every removal.
– We are prepared to to meet the expectations of our customers in the best way, now when we are entering the high season. Even this season it´s going to be fully boked certain weeks. Contact us as soon as possible so we can plan the removal/relocation together with you in the best way!

OMNI Award
OMNI, The Overseas Moving Network International, is an organization where the members are represented from the world's international removal companies, 260 companies from 70 countries.
Every year OMNI rewards the company which has the largest volume. For 2008 Alfa Quality Moving received the finest award a removal company can get; Regional Gold Award European Region.

Linda Boström, Carina Jarnemyr and Christina Willner Move Manager at Alfa Quality Moving, visiting Asian Tigers in China. | | Visiting our partners in Asia In March, three of Alfa Quality Moving's Move Managers visited our partners in Asia. They visited our partners in China, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. The purpose with the business trip was to exchange experience and to learn more about our cultural differences. – It was very useful and enjoyable to visit all these countries, says Carina Jarnemyr, one of the Move Managers. Now it´s easier for me to explain the customs' procedure and different kinds of processes that make it easier for our customers when they move to countries in this area. We have also connected with our local partners in a better way that will improve the service we give to our customers in the future. – I´m very proud to work in a company which puts so much into its quality work and its employees.

| | Extended opening hours At Alfa Quality Moving, AQM, we work actively to be more available for our customers. As about 70% of the removals take place during summer, it comes natural to us to extend our opening hours for this season. We started with longer opening hours already in 2007, and it was very appreciated by our customers and partners.

Cybit, computorized system for our trucks.
| | Cybit During the autumn 2008, Alfa Quality Moving decided, together with our associated transporters, to invest in a computorized system for our trucks. The choice of supplier was decided before the turn of the year and a three years contract was written with Cybit, an English company in Gothenburg. In February, the system was installed in three of our trucks as a test. In the end of April the system was installed in most of the remaining trucks. The objectives with the investment are to reduce the fuel consumption, and accordingly also to reduce the CO2-emissions, and to improve our customer service. The computer system will also improve our planning system, as well as the control of our truckfleet and make it possible for the individual transporters to keep their expences down. | |

Customs check Now the customs do a 100% inspection on all the removals that are sent to South Africa. This will lead to approximately one week transit time on all the removals to South Africa.
| |  | | Alfa Relocation AB Alfa Relocation AB is a newly formed company within the Beta Group. In the Beta Group you will also find Alfa Quality Moving AB, Nordic leader in the removal industry. We are now able to offer our customers a complete service package i.e. moving, storage, insurance and relocation.
A partnership agreement has recently been signed with Rosen & Hagenborn, a well-known Swedish relocation company with its head office in Malmö.
Ulrika von Rosen, owner of R&H has become an active part owner of Alfa Relocation AB and she is also a member of the board. Other board members are Ralph Höglund and Bengt Jönsson, the latter being Chairman.
Camilla Kihlén, former Tetra Laval Group and Alfa Quality Moving AB, will as of June 8th be organised in Alfa Relocation AB.
