AQM was founded as a private company in 1995 by Alf Bosmyr, Göran Frisén, Christer Bosmyr and Bengt Jönsson. The focus from the start was to be a top quality service provider, concentrating on the international moving business. The setup was in two major fields; pan-European and overseas moves. Within our first year in business, offices and fully equipped storage facilities were opened in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Malmö and Jönköping, where our head office is located. All along the way we have employed engaged people with knowledge and experience plus a firm commitment to service. Our basic objectives are: Safety and reliability for the families moving and for the HR/purchase departments of the corporate accounts - To deliver high quality moving services to our clients.
- To be a reliable partner to all parties involved, such as subcontractors, carriers, agents and authorities.
- To maintain long lasting relations with customers and suppliers.
- To provide removal services according to sustainable principles and systems.
Through our eMoving system, the customers can get basic information on the status of ongoing moves.We are members of the most respected industry organisations in the world. They do a lot to make our field of business better both for us and our customers. By common short names they are: OMNI, FIDI, HHGFAA, SMF, BAR. Through FIDI we are also FAIM certified (FAIM=FIDI Accredited International Mover), which is a quality & environmental standard for international movers, with regular audits similar to those used for ISO standards. At an early stage we decided to develop our own computer system in-house - AlfaAssist. Today AlfaAssist is a fully integrated system, including CRM, operations, finance and our intranet. During 2004 we started a project in Sweden to achieve environmental certification according to ISO 14001 standards, which we successfully managed to get in January 2005.
